Studio Hire FAQs

We are located on the outskirts of central London (north).  If you’re travelling by car, we are based at China House, 401 Edgware Road, NW2 6GY.
Opposite our studios is a newly built Brent Cross West station, which is only a 3-minute walk away. The station is conveniently located and offers a direct 12-minute journey to/from Kings Cross.

Our studio is open Monday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

We can accommodate overtime shoots that run later than 6 p.m. for an additional fee. However, the studio must be cleared by 10.30 p.m. at the latest.

The shortest duration for any booking is four hours.

Please speak with the studio manager if you need more time. We will try our best to accommodate your request, provided no booking is scheduled immediately after yours. In such a scenario, we would happily extend your booking at an overtime rate.

Pre-arranged overtime is set at £70/ hour.

Unarranged overtime is set at £100 for the first hour, then £200, then £300 and so on.

We have access to our studio via stairs and a passenger lift. Although the passenger lift isn’t a service lift, it can accommodate most items, similar to a hotel lift. For larger items and sets, the flats are carried directly into the studio through the external door. Our studios are wheelchair accessible, and there is also an accessible toilet located on our floor.

There are up to 3 parking spaces per studio, subject to availability.

We always have a team member available in the building to welcome and assist you and your team in case of any technical difficulties. However, you and your crew are expected to work independently, manage your shoot, be proficient in using all the required equipment, and ensure a safe working environment inside the studio. You can hire our highly experienced lighting and digital assistant for the day for £350. This includes the use of an entire workstation, which consists of an Apple Mac Computer, a monitor, and CaptureOne tethering software.

We charge £50 for half a roll (5.5m) or £95 for a full roll. If you require a backdrop colour that is not available in the studio, we can order it for you. However, please give us sufficient notice prior to your booking so that we can arrange for the backdrop to be delivered before your scheduled session

You can book a photography or videography through our parent company, Blend Studios.  Just let them know what you need, and they’ll provide you with a competitive quote.

We love pets, but they must be well-behaved on a leash in community spaces. If you have a furry friend, please ensure they are house-trained, and any damages will be charged accordingly.
Please also provide a prior warning if bringing pets or animals into the studio.

We would be happy to give you a tour of our excellent spaces, but please contact us before your visit.
